I have Google Wifi - AC1200-based mesh with 3 devices, and I want to extend it.
I face an issue with connecting the 4th router to the existing mesh. I Restored settings, ReInstall the router's software and tried all other things I found in the network. After that, I start from the beginning:
1. New internet provider with the problematic router.
2. Successfully connect the 4th Google Wifi AC1200 as a new router in Bridge or at NAT mode.
3. It works and has the Internet on Network Test as well as on Cable connection. The router lights are pure white colour.
4. When I connect via WiFi to the newly created wifi SSD -> Network Access is Denied, and Unable to connect etc.
My Conclusion is that my Google Wifi - AC1200 has an issue with the WIFI INTERFACE.
Did some of you face the same issues... ? Please advise How I can solve the problem with WIFI. The router is functioning, but there is an issue at the WIFI interface.

Hello RadkoZh,
Thanks for reaching out — let's see what's going on.
Can you try changing your network name and password on your Google Home app? Make sure that there aren't any special characters or spaces. Try to reconnect your devices after that and let us know how it goes. We'll wait for your update.
Regards,
Abi

The findings that I reach and describe above are when I try to set up the router in the totally new setup with an alternative new WAN port - this is how I succeed to "debut the issue". When I try to add this router to the MESH on the step assigning the existing SSD (in my case: Zhelevi_WiFi), google home says: Something went wrong, and the router light became Orange. I wil try again and provide feedback...

I reset the Router and try to add to MESH again, but when Google Home try to connect the phone to the Router SSID setup34810 (after scanning the QR) the router provide: Unable to join the network "setup34810". On the phone: Connection Failed. etc. TRY AGAIN.
As per the privious setup the SSI: setup34810 is not even viewable. nighther accesible

Hi RadkoZh,
Thanks for the update. When you first set up your Google Wifi network before and recently, did you use the same Google account under the same home structure? By any chance, did you use a different email or create a different home structure on your Google Home app?
Best,
Abi

My Home MESH is created under # the same account under the google home app. Only this account is used for my mesh and my smarthome. When I debugged the router (described above) and succeeded in launching it on cable, I also used the same account but in a different home.
One more time: The issue is that router 4 in the mesh do not enable wifi SSID or do not allow phone or computer to connect to the SSID.

Hello RadkoZh,
Apologies for the late reply. Thanks for the clarification. You mentioned that you're using this 4th Google Wifi router as a point to add to your existing mesh network. May I know where you purchased your original mesh network setup and this new Google Wifi router that you're trying to add? I'll wait for your update.
Thanks,
Abi

Hi Abi,
All the devices are bought after-market (considered from private persons).
Before facing the current situation, the 4th device was operational in my other apartment as standard wifi router. (today it doesn't want to work in this mode.
Yesterday I ordered Nest WiFi Point - Wi-Fi Extender and Smart Speakerwhich also do not want to connect.
Regards
Radko
