Hey All,
I have used Google Wifi for years and it has always been great. Lately I noticed streaming issues; when I tested speed it is always 1mbps or slower and the upload is always around 40mbps, which is where it should be. This is not only on WiFi, but also on Ethernet on my desktop computer.
My current setup is Xfinity modem --> Google WiFi -->Network Switch.
Troubleshooting I have done:
This exact setup has worked great for over 1 year, I am not sure what could have happened now.

Hi Aquesada001,
Thanks for posting in the Wifi Community forum. I appreciate all the troubleshooting steps that you've tried so far.
To cover all the bases, could you please try changing the DNS of your Google Wifi mesh network? Here's how: open the Google Home app > Tap the WiFi icon then select Setting > At the bottom, choose Advanced Networking > Tap on DNS then Custom DNS > Enter in Primary server 8.8.8.8 and Secondary server 8.8.4.4 > Select Save.
Let's also ensure that Nest WiFi cloud services is currently enabled. Here's the step: open the Google Home app > Tap WiFi and then Settings > Choose Privacy settings > Toggle Nest Wifi cloud service off then on and tap Save.
If the issue persists, check out this support article for additional troubleshooting steps.
Let me know if this works.
Cheers,
Lovely
