Google Wifi Pause not working anymore.

I got Google Wifi in the house and until recently the pause fumction had worked just fine, but now when I pause items they are still online, my kids has a laptop, iPad and a desktop which I have set schedule for, not working, our Samsung tv still running whether it's paused or not, any update that can have caused this? What can I do?

This is likely due to that most devices now by default uses a thing called MAC randomization to make it harder to track devices across networks. For greater privacy.

Your choices are to either control the devices on a different level than the network, for instance with Microsoft Family Safety.

Or turn off MAC randomization, which in theory your kids can enable again.
