Google nest Wi-Fi, ac2200, getting region related errors after 2 years of usage. Help..

Unfortunately, after multiple years of usage, I am starting to receive region related errors on apps like Disney plus, Hulu, and Netflix. I've tried factory resets, reaching out to customer support, and still with no resolution. I've also tried turning off IPv6, and universal plug-in play, still with nothing making a difference. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @gaberamirez123,

Thank you for posting in the community. I understand that you're receiving region-related errors on your streaming apps after years of using your device. I understand your frustration, especially after you've already tried such thorough troubleshooting steps like factory resets, contacting support, and changing your network settings. I'm here to help you get to the bottom of this.

To help me understand the issue better, could you please answer a few questions and provide a photo of the error message?

  • What is the exact wording of the error message that appears on the screen?
  • Could you please send a photo of the error you see on your streaming apps?
  • Are these issues happening on all of your streaming devices (cell phones, tablets, computers, streaming devices) or just one?
  • Have you recently changed your Internet Service Provider (ISP), or is it possible that your IP address has changed?

While you gather that information, please ensure your device has the latest software updates installed.

Please let me know the answers to the questions above, and we can continue troubleshooting from there. I'll be waiting for your response.

Regards,

Kevin
