I am facing a very annoying issue:
I Have several Nest cameras connected to my wifi. The cameras work flawlessly and Pick up any movement as intended. However, whenever I open the app to live view the cameras or the recorded fortage it is almost impossible to do so. The live view will come up for a second or two on all cameras - so they clearly work. But then they all disappear and it just says “not available”. Some times it helps to push the retry button several times, but sometimes I have to stop the app to get the picture back and often it will just do the same thing again!

I have the same complaint. Please post a solution so everyone can understand the problem, if you get one.

That's odd.
Your post doesn't indicate whether this is happening with the Google Nest app or the Google Home app, but you could try deleting and then reinstalling the app on your phone.
You could also check whether this is happening on another phone, or on the home.nest.com or home.google.com websites.
