My HP laptop with Windows 11 is unable to connect to my Nest Wifi Pro network. All my other devices connect to it and the HP laptop can connect to my internet company’s router, but not the Nest Pro network. Please help.

Do you have WPA3 turned on in your Nest Wifi settings? If so, try turning it off?

Try changing your DNS provider in Nest Wifi settings to 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1 (Cloudflare)?

Thanks. WPA3 is already turned off. Unsure how to change the DNS provider, but DNS setting is set to automatic.

Thanks. Will try that. What’s the risk of changing to these vs keeping it at the automatic setting?

Zero risk. The setting I'm suggesting is DNS provided by Cloudflare, which is virtually always faster and more compatible than the DNS provided by your Internet Service Provider.

What about for IPV6 primary and secondary? Same as the primary and secondary you suggested?

No leave those blank, you just need to change the IPV4 ones.

I replaced my Google Wifi router/points last night with Nest Pro Wifi - kept same network name and p/w. All devices reconnected 100% fine except for our HP Stream laptop - the wifi list doesn't even show the network name. Tried the 1.1.1.1 / 1.0.0.1 suggestion and this didn't seem to do the trick - any other suggestions? Thanks for any advice!

If it's only the 1 device with the issue, you've tried turning off WPA3 if you have it turned on, and you've tried changing your DNS, it's pretty likely it's not an issue with Nest Wifi and a device issue instead.

WPA3 off, set the DNS to the custom settings you suggested, tried a restart on the HP Stream, no dice all around. Frustrating that it's only one device out of 20+ that is having issues (phones / tablets / smart devices / etc) - it's our kids' babysitter's laptop so not even my device and the only change from yesterday to today was my switch from old points to the new pro points. I'll bang my head against the wall and see what I can come up with but thanks for your help!
