I upgraded from Asus Google onhub router to the Google Wifi router.
Setup was straightforward. Currently have Google wifi connected with modem as wifi point. I added 2nd Google wifi as mesh point.
However I can't add the old Google onhub as mesh point. Is there a way to do it? If yes, can someone explain to me how? I would like to put to some use. Or is it literally dead weight now? I know support is supposed to end in December. Are they killing the onhub early? Thanks, -(I am newbie)

I already read that page. It only tells you to set p the onhub as primary wifi point and add Google wifi as mesh point. However the onhub support is ending. I want to know if possible to use the onhub as a mesh point. The Google home app isn't detecting the onhub when I try to set it up. The onhub is already factory reset before I setup Google wifi as primary wifi point.

It doesn't explicitly say so but my understanding is you can't have OnHub as a mesh Wifi point.
