How to block illicit content on any device on home wifi

I can see how to add family devices and restrict them in Family Wi-Fi, but I'd like to have the ability to also restrict content to any device that connects to the wireless. I don't want friends coming over, and being able to see whatever they want on the internet.

Please let me know if there's a way to do a blanket rule set for any device that happens to come onto the network.

What you ask is not possible with Nest Wifi.

One could set a custom DNS ( https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/6274141?hl=en ) that blocks malware and adult content (Cloudflare, Quad9, NextDNS), but that can easily be bypassed on the client.

Feedback and feature requests to Google can be provided through the Google Home app:

I can't think of a single user requested feature that ever got implemented though.

I don't work for Google.
