We have three white circular nest wifi devices that we bought about 4 years ago when we moved to our town. Our wi fi is working but I want to add the third device we were previously not using because we remodeled a part of our house and I need to extend the network a little further in our house. I plugged the third device in and the light is blue - but it doesn't appear to be working. I tried to get on the app to add or check it but the app doesn't show we even have an account or that we have the equipment. It is asking me to set up an account. Edward reached out to help but we were impacted by the flooding in Montana and was not able to respond.
When I try to set up a new system and when I scan the setup qr code or when I enter the setup code, it says it can't set it up. The two devices seem to be working great. I unplugged the one that is connected to our modem and replugged in and it reset just fine. How can I get the app to recognize our existing system and add this third device? Thank you!

I think a factory reset of existing pucks ( https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/6246619?hl=en ) then set up from scratch ( https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9548301?hl=en ) is the fastest way to get up and running.
Use the same network name (SSID) and password, then devices will reconnect automagically.
