Nest Wi-Fi and Verizon g3100 router

Dawitz28

I have Verizon Fios for TV and internet. Currently have a 3100 router from Verizon hooked up to a nighthawk. I really can’t stand my NH so trying an AC2200 system.

What’s the best way to set this up? I know I need to keep my 3100 for TV. I know I need to run the Ethernet cable from the 3100 to the 2200. But in terms of configuration (AP modes, bridge modes etc) what should the environment look like?

@olavrb, thanks for the help!

@Dawitz28, how's it going with your Google Wifi? Were you able to check the links that olavrb provided?

Thanks,

Edward
