Hello Community
I would like to hear out if someone knows how to "kick/disconnect" a specific device from the wifi network?
I know the option of pause but what if i want to kick someone off the network completely? Isn't there any "disconnect device from network" option? or perhaps a work-around?
Regards,
Faraz

Hello @farazijaz
Once a device has been configured with the shared password for your network, there's no reliable way to kick it off. If you can't remove your network from that device (e.g., if it's a device owned by someone else), you may need to consider changing the shared password. That will keep that device from reconnecting, but will require reconfiguring your other devices with the new password. I would also recommend creating a "Guest" network that has a separate password to connect devices temporarily. That way you can change that network's password frequently without impacting your other devices.

From what I've read in another thread devices that are unused on the network should fall off in about 30 days. So I I would think if you pause the device it would fall off also after 30 days or around 30 days.

Hi farazijaz,
I just wanted to jump in real fast to see if you saw Hurlamania's reply and to see if you still needed some help on this or if you were able to get it sorted out. If you are still needing some help, just let us know and we'll be happy to continue helping. But to back up what was said, yes, most of these devices will begin to drop off after not connecting to the network for an extended time.
Thanks,
Jeff
