From my main internet provider router, i have a internet switch to split the signal between 1) my wifi router for my household and 2) the google nest wifi router i have setup in the rental appartment downstairs.
So the total bandwidth from internet provider is shared between 1) and 2).
I would like to limit the bandwidth that 2) makes available in order to ensure minimum bandwidth in my household 1).
How can I setup a bandwidth limitation on the google nest router? I do not find any advances setup option to do so in the google home app.
Thanks in advance

Hello @Duanerf
This does not appear to be a feature that Google/Nest WiFi supports. It sounds like you have another "outer" router, though, and you may be able to to something like that at that level.

Hi Michael,
Thanks, Yes I have the main router with this fonction. However that router is input to switch, so if I limit there, i will limit both the appartment and my own bandwidths

The switch should be essentially transparent to any router-level bandwidth limiting – that should be operating on individual MAC addresses, and that outer router should see one MAC address for your household WiFi router and one other MAC address for the Nest WiFi Router for the apartment.
