I constantly have to restart my network

My nest network constantly slows down to the point where I need to restart my network. Every time I restart the router, my networks speed comes back. I basically need to restart the nest router 2/3 times a week.

ya, it's frustrating, I have been getting no internet even thought wifi signal is strong, and have to restart the whole **bleep** thing. When working from home, nowadays I plug in my old router too, so that on such issue I connect to that. big brand big issue seems like

Hey folks,

I'm sorry for the trouble this may have caused you— let's see what's going on.

Are you using a modem/router combo from your Internet Service Provider (ISP)? What devices are having this issue? Also, how did you restart your network?

Give these steps a try:

  • Set a custom DNS at 8.8.8.8 on the primary and 8.8.4.4 on the secondary server. Hit the save/ floppy disk icon on the upper right.
  • Unplug the power from your Google Wifi devices for 2 minutes.
  • If the issue persists, try factory resetting your network.

Let us know how it goes.

Best,

Mel
