I am setting up a new nest WiFi at my office. The connection requires a static IP to be configured in order to get internet access. The problem is, all of the posts about setting static IP on google nest WiFi requires access to the ‘WIFI’ settings, which I don’t have because nest can’t find internet (because I have not set static Ip) so it won’t complete setup. Is there a way to access the next WiFi settings outside of the app?
EDIT:
I figured this out. Essentially, you need to just go through the settings until it is 'unsuccessful' in finding an internet connection. After which, it gives some options - the main one being to reset hardware. Do not do this. There is another option called 'internet settings'. By clicking that, you are then able to enter any static IP information. Once saved, RESTART the set up process, and it should be able to connect to the internet with the new static IP settings saved to the router.

You don't have the choice of WAN settings during setup?
There are no other official ways of configuring settings than the app, but there are a undocumented API. I don't know if that could be useful for you here. There's a project around this, don't know if it's still usable:
I've escalated the thread in hope of getting some insight from Google reps.

Hi Olavrb,
Thank you for your response. I was actually able to figure it out. If you essentially let the app 'timeout' when it is trying to connect to internet, one of the options is called 'internet settings' -- if you go there you are able to set the IP/Subnet/Gateway, after which it kicked me out, so I restarted the set up with new settings and it was able to connect to internet.
