HI, I have a google mesh network (router + 3 points), several nest cams and other google products. When the internet goes down, I lose everything. I get the nest products go through servers for analytics so not surprised.
I installed 2 IP cameras because I need persistent video of a disabled kid in my house, however those cameras go down w/o internet too. I saw an older post about google intentionally disabling lan when the wan is down. Is there any workaround to keep the LAN up without internet, or do I need another wifi system?
