When the Google Wifi is flashing red/orange that means that your Wifi point has no internet connection. Check with your ISP (Internet Service Provider) to make sure that there is not an outage in your area. You can also reboot your internet modem from your ISP by unplugging the power cable for 1 minute and plugging it back if.
If after a few minutes, your Google Wifi is still flashing orange, unplug the Google Wifi for a minute and then plug it and this will reboot the system.
If the light does not turn solid white after this you will need to follow these additional steps to fix your Google Wifi.
