Issue connecting router as point

evanolson

I'm attempting to use add a router as a point to my existing mesh network in order to use the Ethernet port. I've seen in other posts that when adding it as new device on the Home app, I need to to through the steps of adding it a point instead. When trying this, the app is unable to find a device and I see a pulsing yellow light on the router. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
