Mesh WiFi to temporarily convert to 2.4 to set up a Garage door opener MyQ

Hi, can anyone help me Temporarily switch to 2.4 Fwy to set up a garage door opener that requires 2.4 only to set up?

Not possible. Either buy a cheap access point that can do 2.4ghz SSID only, connect it by cable to Nest Wifi. You could also repurpose an old router for this.

Or buy a different Wifi solution than Nest Wifi.

It has been like this for years, and Google does not seem to have any plans changing it.

I ordered a 2.4 only extender and I will try it tomorrow. Been very busy and I should be able to try it tomorrow.

If that fails, I will reach out to you and hopefully I can get both of my garage door openers to work.

It's called MyQ garage door openers.
