Mesh router dropped WiFi 24hrs and counting…

I purchased a 3pk (2 wifi extenders) and purchased an additional for a total of 3 extenders and 1 mesh router over a year ago.

throughout the time, I’ve had dropped WiFi every month or so and by unplugging the router or resetting network via Google App, it’s been fixed (annoying but works).
Yesterday morning all points were slowly blinking yellow and continue to do so.
I’m livid with this issue!

Im on fiber optic, have called my internet provider and they ran signal tests to see if I’m getting service… ITS WORKING PERFECTLY FINE on their end, so the issue is the Google router/points!

HOW DO I SOLVE THIS?

This is an issue i have had for over a year caused by an update that ruined the router and points, i had mine in storage hoping that in a new update it would be taken care of, it did not happen, for the last 2 weeks i have been in constant contact with Google support and they don't admit to any issues with the software, their answer to it is to keep resetting, i was told 3 days ago i would be getting an email response from a specialist as to why the router is having issues so far no email, i keep asking for a replacement and they say they first have to go through all the trouble shooting first before they escalate the issue, this is ridiculous i liked the nest router when it worked i payed good money for this product, not cool that they will just give you the run around

It’s very frustrating!

where are you contacting them?

I reached out through the app.

Same here, i have been following different forums on this issue, some people have been able to overcome the issue once the nest router has been replaced, i had to go get a different router for now so i could have some stability with with my smart home setup

I purchased a 2pk (1 wifi extender) and it worked seamlessly for a couple of months. I also checked my internet provider, verified ok, ran up-load-down-load speed checks that passed but I have intermittent service on Teams/Zoom but ok on buffered services like Netflix. The Wi-Fi point will no longer connect to the Google Wi-Fi hub. I have reset the service providers router and factory reset the Google Nest Wi-Fi and the Point. Problem continues.

What's impossible is find anyway of resolving this issue having run through all the easy stuff above. Everything I try and get help on through Google ends up in an endless circle of no help and no way to return a unit. It appears very deliberate in making it extremely difficult for even tech savvy people to figure this one out. Hellllllllp.

It starts to feel more deliberate given the fact that quality control is a issue with seemingly every product they make. I own 2 Nest hubs, 2 Nest Hub Max's, Google Wi-Fi, Google TV, Nest cameras, pixel 6 Pro, pixel buds A, Chromebook and a few other products. ALL of them have issues and almost all of them are software related. They seem to be doing everything they can to make me want to give up on the Google Ecosystem.

Finally worked!!!

I disconnected the router for 1hr then plugged it back in. Still did not work! WT”F”!

few hrs later I moved the router from a 3.5’ pony wall to the floor, literally 1 outlet away and BOOM! I did not unplug Ethernet to modem, just plugged into another outlet.

don’t know why but it works!!
