Hi Lois-L,

Thanks for posting here in the community. I'm sorry to hear your Nest Connect keeps losing its Wi-Fi connection. It's definitely concerning when your Wi-Fi network connects fine to your Nest Connect, but the Nest × Yale Lock connection shows a blue light. I'm happy to help!

To better understand the situation, I'd like to ask a few questions:

  • When did the issue start?
  • Did your Nest x Yale Lock work before?
  • Have you made any recent changes to your Wi-Fi network or password?
  • Are there any walls, mirrors, microwave appliances, or Bluetooth devices between the Nest Connect and the Yale Lock?
  • How far is your Nest × Yale Lock from the Nest Connect?

In the meantime, let's check a few tips:

  • Restart your network equipment: A simple restart can often resolve connection issues.
  • Verify range and reduce interference: Make sure the Nest Connect is no more than 50 feet away from your Nest x Yale Lock. If you can, try to position the Nest Connect so it's roughly the same distance from both your Wi-Fi access point and the lock.
  • Factory reset: This action clears your data. Follow these steps to Factory reset the Nest × Yale Lock.
  • Set up: The app takes you through the steps. Refer to this article: Nest × Yale Lock installation and setup.

Keep me posted.

Regards,

Melany
