Nest Network Setup.

After being away from home for a few months, I found that my Nest network isn't working. I was able to set up my Nest router, but my point would not work. I get to the point where I am asked to scan the QR code (I assume on the bottom of the router, the same one I scanned to set up the router), but all I get is the message that this is the wrong QR code. I can't find another one. I went on-line to these discussion forums and found a post from a fellow who had the exact same problem. He had spoken with someone at Google. (I haven't figured out how to do that yet), and, apparently, the problem was he needed to uninstall and reinstall the Google Home App. He says that worked. So I did it too. Now even my Nest Router won't set up.  Please, someone, tell me what I need to do.

Problem solved. I kept tinkering, and I finally got it to work. I don't know what I did differently. This time I unplugged the router for thirty seconds, then set it up again as if new. When I got to the Nest Point, the set up went smoothly, and I was not asked to scan the QR code. I had previously unplugged both devices and left them for several minutes, but it didn't work that time. So I'm mystified, but happy. Sorry I can't suggest a solution to anyone else dealing with the same problem.
