When i turn on a guest network, do both networks use all the same bands or does the Guest Network use a specific band?

Thanks!

Hello @EWTLTD

The guest network supports all three bands (2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz) on the Nest WiFi Pro, just like the main network.

That is what u thought too,  however cannot play my AirPlay 2 speakers on guest network, they have to be on main.

I separated IOT devices to main and use guest for personal devices only because I can use all iot devices on guest network.

any Insights?

That's not a band separation issue. More likely it's that the guest network may be isolating clients from each other and from devices on the main network. I like putting some IoT devices on my guest network, too, but anything that requires dynamic discovery or streaming will work better on the main network.

Correct. All my IOT is on main and all personal will stay on Guest.

drawback: guest network 1/3 slower than main network.
