About a month ago, I noticed my Nest Wifi Pro network started acting odd - weird slowdowns and missing devices were the primary issues. After doing a bit of digging I realized this coincided with the most recent firmware upgrade. I have to restart my network manually at least once a day to be able to maintain decent speeds and have access to all of my devices - especially smart switches and Sonos speakers. Once restarted, the network works fine for a while only to be back to operating very poorly within 24 hours.
After reading reports of a promised update to address these issues "within a few days" and not seeing anything, I picked up a different wifi mesh system and was ready to drop this one. Turns out, that new system has it's own set of different issues.
Ultimately, I just want my Nest Wifi Pro system to go back to working like it did a couple months ago. Is there any hope of these new firmware issues being addressed in a timely manner? I'm so tired of dealing with this.

I have been having the same issue quite a lot recently, I need to reboot the network every day or so, otherwise it slows to a crawl, even for devices using a wired connection to a node.
Running a speed test through the Home app shows that the connection "out" is working at full speed.

Hello there,
Thanks for posting in the community!
That sounds frustrating to have to reboot your devices daily for good internet speeds. Let's see if we can identify the cause of the slow connection.
I noticed you mentioned using switches. While switches can be helpful for expanding wired connections, in some cases, they might contribute to making the connection slower.
My best advice for you is to try to remove them and check if that solves this.
Feel free to reply with any additional details about your setup or if the situation persists after removing the switches.
Best regards,
Nery.

This correlates directly with the most recent firmware update of the Nest Wifi Pro hardware. The switches are just smart light switches, not network switches, so that doesn't apply in this situation. Thank you.

Similar here, no other network hardware, and barely any smart home stuff, just a simple three node mesh with bobby basic client devices.

Hello there.
Thanks for your response!
Thanks for clarifying about the smart switches. Since they don't seem to be causing this scenario, your daily disconnects could be due to something else.

Since 3.73 my Google Nest Pro has a been a hot mess. Points go offline every night usually during periods of heavy upload activity (Backblaze cloud backup & Apple icloud backups for Apple devices). They flashing yellow light shows up daily. I am on the verge of just giving up and buying a new router. We are headed towards two months of unstable Internet at our house.

Similar issues here. Slow internet, not able to access NAS or connect to devices that are present on the network such as printing from iPhone. All of this was never an issue with original Google WiFi picks. All these problems stem from replacing old network with Nest WiFi Pro system.
Come on Google get this sorted, otherwise you will have a lot of Nest WiFi Pro units being returned.

Similar issues here - since February when I "upgraded" to Nest Wifi Pro - been an absolute disaster. I've replaced the network switches as well thinking that was the issue, but it almost seem slike even when the 2 other points are properly in "bridge mode" they are creating a double NAT confusion in the system slowing it to a crawl -even hardwired. I was told by Google support they don't recommend a 3rd party "network switch device" - Well that's great how am I supposed to hardwire 20+ devices off a single output on the Nest Wifi Pro???? Went back to my original Google Wifi Mesh and it is working fine...the Wifi Pro has some serious bugs to fix. Unfortunately took 3 months to sort all this out and Google is refusing to refund my WiFi Pros - which are clearly the culprit at this point. Pretty disappointed in Google right now.

I ran Ethernet to my office and temporarily turning off cloud backups from my Macbook Pro I have reduced significantly the load on the Wi-Fi also deleted both points leaving only the base. The WiFi is stable. This is still not good as prior to 3.73 it had no problems being stable with more devices and a heavy continuous cloud backup upload from 11pm to 7am. I feel that the newer code does not handle contention and heavy use as well as the old code.

Has anyone found a fix? I have the same issues with Sonos speakers disappearing and also have issues with Airplay and AirPrint devices disappearing. I have to reboot daily now.

I have tested all of the cabling and the switch being used for wiring to the points and have factory reset the entire network twice and the points probably 5-6 times.

I removed Google WiFi from my home and am for the time being using the ISP (Windstream) provided router and getting better performance and stability than with the Google Nest Pro WiFi 3 pack mesh. This is frustrating as I had used the previous two generations without issues. I'm done. I would put them on Facebook Marketplace but I can't in good conscious sell them to someone and tell them they work fine because they don't. Right now they are e-waste destined for the next collection day at my dump. I am now the product manager's nightmare a former advocate turned net promoter score negative recommending "anything but". This is how months of horrible management of a bad release in the field goes. I would never risk my reputation now recommending this product to family or friends.

I went back to my old Samsung Connect setup with one less access point so that I could have reliable connections for my cameras. I have spent hours troubleshooting the Nest and now have shifted to replacing with a TP-Link Omada because I will never have a product again that I can’t view log files to determine what is happening on my network.
