Nest WiFi iPerf3 performance

Hi

what sort of iPerf throughput should we expect from the new Nest WiFi devices?

I was expecting in the ‘100’s of MB/s to my local iPerf3 server host, but am struggling to get up to 40.

Have they defaulted to the 2.4Ghz band? I don’t know why that would be if it is the case as there is lots of range in the 5Ghz bands …

Thanks in advance

When I could keep the Google WI-Fi Mesh working I could get ############ using Comcast in Houston. But after constantly fiddling with Google for the last 2 years to keep it connected I have given up. I have 3 pucks I can't get to connect or if they do they work for a while then go offline. I now have to think these routers have a short life span.  I have a Google Nest Doorbell that had the same dropping out problem, so it is trash.  Now the Google Mesh is also going into the can.  A lot of expense for frustrating service.  Good luck with your mesh.
