Four years ago, I installed google wifi on a previous cell phone. I did not have a google account at that time. I am trying to switch over to Google Home to manage google wifi. GH does not find my active google wifi network. I can open the google wifi app on my cell phone and added my current google account email to the owner. Still no luck, GH does not find my current network. How to proceed?

Factory reset each puck manually, using physical button:
Then set up from scratch in the Google Home app:
Use the same network name (SSID) and password, and your devices will reconnect automagically. 🙂

Okay, thanks, that's the official way. Not sure I want to break a working system and hope google home will find them... Will have to think about this...

It's the only way I know to work reliably at least. If they're not even hooked to a Google account, I don't think it's possible to get it migrated as is into the Google Home app.
Here is the guidance for migrating to Google Home, for reference:

How do I delete Google Home from my android phone? I want to delete it and start over with a completely fresh download. I had tried setting up Google Nest router last night with no luck. The Nest router is going back to the store. That's why I am reluctant to factory reset my google wife pucks as I may lose everything...

Deleting/ uninstalling the app does not help if you log in with the same Google account again.
To "start fresh" you might consider to delete the Google Home home?
