Hi all,
Grateful for some advice- I have been on the Google Home ecosystem for a few years now (wireless doorbell, external cameras, thermostat and wifi all controlled via Google Home on my iPhone) without issue, up until the last 5-6 months.
My current wifi set up involves one Nest Wifi router (connected to my ISP's provided Adtran modem)- and three points situated around the house to provide good wifi coverage throughout the property.
Unfortunately for the last few months, without fail I am regularly getting the "Wifi network offline" message from the Google Home app and am losing connectivity. This is happening more and more frequently recently, and for some reason it happens most frequently during the night (pretty much every night currently). It's extremely annoying as it means I lose connectivity to all my connected devices (e.g. my thermostat which means my heating automations do not kick in) and I can't figure out why this is happening.
I've validated that there are no issues with my internet provider or modem and usually to resolve the issue I just need to switch off the main Nest router and switch back on after 30 seconds (doesn't sound a lot, but having to go downstairs numerous times during the night to do this becomes very annoying, very quickly).
I've scoured the forum and can see several other users have reported similar issues in the past. I've tried all of the suggested actions, for example those mentioned in the below thread but nothing resolves the issue.
Has anyone been able to successfully rectify these issues or is it time to ditch Nest Wifi and move to a different mesh system? Is Nest Wifi Pro any more reliable?
Thanks in advance

I've had these issues and yesterday my wifi went totally out. I have about 35 iot devices. The cameras have had issues for some time now. My August door lock goes off and on line several times a day.
Last night I called the isp who's advice was only helpful for a 3rd grader. I had already reset the fiber modem and nest 2nd Gen twice. I hooked up a laptop directly and it's 800/800.
I called into Google help line and got an outstanding rep who after understanding I pretty much did all I can do, simply told be to reset the Nest from the app. Bam. Wifi returned. What's really strange is while my wifi was down, before I reset in the app, both hard wired TVs (off my TP switch) worked. How could the router have no wifi output, yet the wired products work? Baffling.
My speed test in the Home app was/is returning a failed test. Still does today even though Speedtest and others say my phones pulling 200/100. My August door lock has disconnected and reconnected twice today.
I'm thinking about uninstalling Home app and reinstalling. I have no problem spending the cash and getting the Nest Pro, but man the speed ratings really suck compared to other mesh systems in similar price ranges. Plus, my 2nd Gen nest has only been about 3 years. I think a router should not fail in 5 or 6 years. But maybe I expected too much.
I hate to leave the Nest router but when I'm looking at Deco and others they seem to have some nice software.
So is there a question here? Yes. Is my Nest system failing? It's been flawless for 3 years. In the matter of 30 days, I have ghost.
