Nest Wifi Points won’t connect

smoothieman

We were cleaning the garage and our primary Nest Wifi Point had disconnected. Later on I had decided to make a new Wifi, and factory reset all of my Wifi points, delete my home, delete the old Wifi I made for these points. We have made multiple attempts at getting all three Wifi Points to start working, but only the primary one will work. The other two’s lights will be blue, pulse blue, nothing, and then slowly pulse orange. How can we set up all 3 wifi points?

System is less than a month old, mesh 4 nodes. Nodes keep droping with yellow light. Reviewing other threads, a firm water update or roll back to operational / stable mesh system. If google can't do that, tell me how toget$$$ back & return system

Hello everyone,

@smoothieman, thanks for reaching out and we'd love to help. I want to check if you were able to get your other Google Nest Wifi points added to your mesh network. If not, please leave the points unplugged for a few hours before setting them up again. You may also try using another phone for the configuration process.

@Kansanman, sorry to hear about this experience. Please perform a 2-minute power cycle on your entire network. Here's the guide:

  1. Disconnect the power from the modem.
  2. Disconnect the Ethernet cable and power cord from the parent point.
  3. Disconnect the power cord from the child points.
  4. Leave everything unplugged for 2 minutes.
  5. Connect the power cord to the modem then to your router and points.

Let me know how it goes.

Cheers,
Lovely

Yes everything worked and the mesh Wifi is now set up and it runs fantastically. Thanks for checking in!
