DNS resolution failed for googlehomefoyer-pa.googleapis.com:443
Same issue as lots of other people. But the recommendations of connect and disconnect to see if it works doesn't work. Also deleting and reinstalling google home app also doesn't work.
No idea what's going on. I'm posting from a computer that's connected to the router and we have our normal connection speed.
But the new pro router is completely junk. Why isn't the setup easy like the old nest one?

Holding down the power button until it flashes yellow also doesn't work.

Now it says Network is offline. Which is bizarre because both the computer and the device are getting an internet connection from it.... The computer from a wired connection on the back and the device is connected directly.
How buggy can one thing be?

Went back to using the original nest wifi. Now I have to return this junk. What a waste.

Hey Graf,
That certainly isn’t the experience we want you to have, and we apologize for the delay. Don’t give up on this. Let’s find a solution for this.
A few questions: are you using a modem/router combo from your Internet Service Provider (ISP)? Which Google/Nest router are we working with? What device are you using to set up your network (iOS or Android)? Do you have the Internet from your modem?
You can do a sequential reboot of your entire network and see if that helps.
or
Please perform a 2-minute power cycle on your entire network to re-establish the connection on your connected devices. Here's how:
Also, you can give these steps a try:
You may skip any step that you’ve done already.
Let us know how it goes.
Best,
Dan
