So I set everything up for wireless mesh (currently working). My question is, can I use the LAN port from one of the routers (satellites) into an unmanaged switch. I am not trying to backhaul just trying to hardwire a computer and printer from across the house. These 2 devices do not have wireless capabilities.
Any help will be appreciated.

Yes, you can connect to an unmanaged switch in exactly the way you describe to connect Ethernet devices

Thanks for the info, Canebrak15!
HackaMo,
It looks like Canebrake15 was able to explain this for you. I just wanted to hop in and see if there were any other questions you might have about the device or to see if you're all set with that.
Thanks,
Jeff

Hi HackaMo,
To clarify, is this a Google Wifi point or a Nest Wifi router that you're trying to use as a point? We'll wait for your update.

Abi

So i have the Nest Wifi Pro. I connected one point (NAT) to my modem and then connected the other 2 ponts (Bridges) as a Wifi mesh. I then connected a printer and computer using the ethernet ports on the back of 1 of the points (Bridges) but cant seem to get a connection.

Hey HackaMo,
Thanks for the details. Let’s try isolating the issue first. Can you try connecting your printer or computer to the main Nest Wifi Pro router? Check if the issue persists. Also, try using a different Ethernet cable to make sure that it’s not faulty. We’ll wait for your update.
Best,
Abi
