Nest Wifi won't connect to Google Home App

I somehow missed the memo on the Google Wifi app was being merged into the Google Home app.   The instructions make it so easy how to do so - that is if they actually worked.   For some reason the Home app doesn't find my Nest network (even though its the one powering it).   I have tried over an over - there must be some magic trick to have it find and bring in the Nest to the Home app.   

Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.

You might need to do a factory reset of the device in order to get it to see it.  I had a similar thing happen when I switched over, but a factory reset was able to fix it.  Hope this helps!

You must be logged in to the Google Home app with the same Google account that set them up originally from the Google Wifi app. If that does not help, factory reset and set up from scratch.
