Nest wifi point - adjust bottom light brightness - setting gone from Google Home app?

When I got my Nest Wifi Router with 2 Points around a year ago, I was able to go into the Google Home iOS app, choose a point, go into its settings and adjust the bottom light brightness that best fits the room setting.

just as these basic instructions are listed:

Adjust the brightness of the status light

  1. Open the Google Home app

    .
  2. Touch and hold your device's tile.
  3. At the top right, tap Settings imikeyb2_3-1665782311595.png. For some Wifi points, you might also need to tap Lights.
  4. Under 'Status light brightness' or 'Bottom light brightness', adjust the brightness of the device's light.

BUT - now that is no longer true, and Ive moved my points and cannot adjust the brightness.

Was this removed in an update?  there is no slider there anymore.

Under "LIGHTS"

I only have, two basic on / off options....

I apologize if this is answered somewhere else, or otherwise common knowledge but I have searched and failed to find a positive answer.

Thanks!

I definitely see this change, no slider anymore but there are three options to choose from: Off, Low, High

I'm using the Google Home app on Android, I see this both with Nest Wi-Fi routers and the points.

Thanks, I do see the status light OFF (which leave the mute bottom light dim) then LOW (which my girlfriend says is too bright still) and then HIGH (which is way too bright).  I was really loving the slider, I could have it on… but just barely so it was “glowing” but not bright enough to be a distraction 😕

*OFF is the closest I can find to the old setting I had.

Thanks for the reply/confirmation
