I had to factory reset the router and reset it up but it keeps saying that connection failed and says to reboot the modem so I follow what it says to do but it doesn’t work. Does anyone have any idea what I could do

Relevant guides:
At what step does it fail, and what does the Google Home app say?
Could it be that you have VPN enabled on your phone during the setup process?

Hi, Chazza.
I just wanted to jump in real fast to see if you saw olavrb's reply and to see if you still needed some help on this or if you were able to get it sorted out. If you are still needing some help, just let us know and we'll be happy to continue helping.
Thanks.

Hi Jeff
no I haven’t been able to get it to work. When I’m setting it up and going through the things and it’s trying to connect to the internet it keeps failing

Chazza, did you see olavrb's question about the VPN? Do you currently use one with your network or any of your devices that would be involved in the setup process?

No there’s no VPN that I know of

Hi again, Chazza.
If you have tried the factory reset and followed the setup guide that olavrb shared above and are still unable to get things working, it might be best to contact support directly and see if they can dig deeper on this with you. You can contact them here: https://bit.ly/3o1aRK5.
If you have any issues reaching them, please let me know.
Thanks.

Hey, everyone.
It looks like we've slowed down here again. We'll be closing up the thread unless anyone else has any input or needs anything else. If so, just let me know and we can keep this open a bit longer.
Thanks.
