Hi,
For the last couple months I have been having speed problems with my Nest Wifi network (3 routers, 3 wifi points). I am on 1000/100 fibre connection which had been performing perfectly for months.
The issues are very similar to what I found on this post - https://www.googlenestcommunity.com/t5/Nest-Wifi/Google-mesh-network-needs-rebooted-on-a-daily-basis... - except that is Google Wifi gen 1
The same workaround seems to apply - ie. setting a priority device solves the slow speed issues, so I'm planning to factory reset next, but just wanted to see if anyone else is familiar with the problem and has had success resolving with or without the factory reset?
Firmware on routers are all 14150.43.81 and wifi points are all 1.54.294928.
Cheers

Hi pk1209,
Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear that you're having an issue with the speed of your Google Wifi. Since the same workaround worked, I would suggest trying the reset that worked for the OP on the thread that you linked. Please keep us posted once you've had the chance to reset it.
Thanks,
Edward

Hi,
I did the factory reset over the weekend, pretty painful across 3 routers and 3 points, and various smart plugs that don't like the WiFi changing!
So far, everything seems to be resolved with the speed tests performing as expected.
Is this a known issue, ie do you know what causes it to happen? Especially strange it happens across gen 1 and 2 of the products!

Hi pk1209,
I'm happy to hear you saw some improvement on this. As for the known cause, we haven't identified one. It definitely helps when community members like you share what worked in their troubleshooting efforts. As things just barely found some stability, let's leave this open before marking it as resolved to make sure things stay reliable. I'll check back in after a few days to see how things are going. If you have any questions, just let me know.
Thanks,
Jeff

Hi everyone,
Just one quick final check in here since activity has slowed down. We'll be locking the thread in the next 24 hours, but if you still need help, I would be happy to keep it open. If there's more we can do, just let me know.
Thanks,
Jeff
