New MacBook Pro wifi keeps dropping and switching to wifi point with really weak connection

I have just got the brand new MacBook Pro and am immediately having issues with my google wifi. In my office I have a wired wifi access point, also forming a mesh with 2 other points. When I connect the wifi in my office I successfully connect to the point in my office (verified via the app), with a nice strong connection, however after some time, the wifi drops (not great at all when on business calls) and comes back and I find my connection speeds grind to a hault as it has re-connected to a different point much further away with a weak connection.

Any tips on what is causing this issue particular with my new mac?

MacOS, iOS and iPadOS devices sometimes have issues with wireless reliability and Nest Wifi because of following settings on these devices:

HTTP Proxy: Set to "none".

Private IP Address (Mac randomization): Disable.

I don't work for Google.
