Any help is appreciated. I have reset, rebooted, restarted my modem and router multiple times and keep getting the same result, no internet connection. I followed the instructions on the Google home app verbatim. Still got the same result. Is it possible I have a hardware issue?

You say "modem and router". What setup do you got, what boxes does internet pass before reaching Nest Wifi?
Some common pitfalls:
Avoid double NAT if possible by setting anything in front of the primary Nest Wifi in bridge mode, sometimes called bypass mode. Failing to do so can cause strange problems and performance degradation (bandwidth/speed and latency). More on that:

Figure out if your ISP (internet service provider) uses VLAN tags for WAN (the internet connection coming into your place). Nest Wifi has limited support for VLAN tags, especially when combined with PPPoE. More on supported VLAN tags:

A workaround is to use a managed switch in front of the primary Nest Wifi unit to remove any VLAN tag before even hitting Nest Wifi:
