I note the retirement of OnHub. If I restart network rather than Factory reset Onhub will I then be able to re-manage my existing supported access points i.e. 3x pucks? Also when I read the Onhub will / can 'continue to provide a wifi signal' - I don't really understand what this means - I cannot manage as part of my network so how do I know this to be the case? I have read the additional threads but specific clarity needed.

No, regardless of whether OnHub is your primary router or a mesh mode as part of a Google Wifi or Nest Wifi network, you must reset OnHub and remove it from the network if you want to be able to manage settings for other Wifi points in the Google Home app.

This means if you do nothing and it was working before January 11, 2023 it will continue to broadcast a Wi-Fi signal but you cannot update any of it's settings, and features other than that stop working.

Maybe its just me but no. So if I restart the Onhub i.e. 'Onhub will still be in your network' which is one of the options I still wont be able to manage the other pucks on the network and that full removal is the only way I can manage my network. Not clear. And the second point that Onhub 'will continue to broadcast a Wi-Fi signal' - still reads very general. Does this mean it will broadcast 'my wifi signal' or does this mean it is capable of broadcasting 'a wifi signal' i.e. if configured on another network. It sounds like the later in which case I have a perfectly good bit of kit that is rendered useless. The wording of the comms are ambiguous to say the least.

Hello there,
Appreciate the help, Abi.
@SimonLill, just to be clear, if your OnHub is the current network's primary router, you won't be able to manage it in the Google Home app. You can only check your SSID and password, do a reboot or do a factory reset in the app. Also, only Google Wifi points can be added to this mesh setup. This means that this current setup will still broadcast a working WiFi signal as long as your ISP is active. Check out this support article for more information: Support for OnHub routers ending.
Let me know if you have other questions.
Best,
Lovely
