Pixel 7 Pro won't connect to Nest WiFi Pro

The Nest WiFi pro has been less than reliable overall since I purchased it a month ago.

3 endpoints with a wired backhaul on an unmanaged switch. Main unit connected to Netgear modem.

No other competing WiFi in the area, this system replaced an aging Ubiquity system. (Upgraded to Nest to increase maintenance simplicity and network speed)

Devices will fall offline and fail to rejoin, these are mostly Nest cameras and Chromecasts. (This is completely intermittent) could be days or longer.

The most consistent problem is my Pixel 7pro, after leaving the house it will not rejoin the network. Forgetting the ssid doesn't help, rebooting the phone doesn't help, restarting the nest wifi pro (via app) doesn't help.

The only thing that works is a hard reboot of the main endpoint. This allows my Pixel 7 pro to join until I disconnect from the WiFi. My wife's P7pro has no issues.

I have tried priority and PIN(ing) a static IP.... no change.

Thanks for any suggestions!

I see .. "obtaining IP address" on my P7pro and then it never connects.

I'm having the exact same issue with my Nest Wifi Pro and Pixel 7 Pro.  During the first week everything worked great, but now my Pixel will not stay connected.  Usually it will give a "Failed to connect to network" error when I try to connect, but sometimes I see "Access point temporarily full".  The Pixel 7 has no issues staying connected to other networks.  Other devices, including my wife's Pixel 4, tend to stay connected much better than my Pixel 7, but not quite as reliably as the 10 year old Netgear router that the Nest replaced (they will disconnect once a week or so, whereas they never disconnected before).  I've tried assigning the Pixel 7 a static IP based on directions from a Google Support agent, but that doesn't seem to have helped.

Change the DNS to the following.

From the WiFi screen in the hone app.

- press "network settings"

- then advanced networking

- press DNS

-set it to custom

Hi clkoontz3,

I'm jumping in to ensure everything is good here. Have you seen dont_recall's response? Let us know of the answers so we could take a closer look at them.

Best,
