Hello,
I recently purchased the Nest wifi 3 pack system in an attempt to improve the reception/syncing of my google home groups when playing music. After setting up the mesh system I have unfortunately encountered the same problems when connecting large home groups to stream music. I have also noticed an incredible decline in overall speed/bandwidth. Even in the areas where my wifi signal was previously weakest I am seeing 50% reduction in speed/bandwidth as compared to what I had before.
Questions for the group:
* What is a reasonable expectation for speed reduction when using a wifi mesh system?
*does anyone know what the upper limit may be for google home/nest devices streaming as a speaker group?
thanks much for the info.

Well....after much searching of these boards i found a response suggesting to factory rests the nest mesh system and create a network name without any special characters. I had reused my old network name with -5G suffix. in any event it seems to have worked. i hope this helps someone else down the road.
