Repurpose as a Google mini

Is there anyway to use the Google nest wifi as a Google mini. It's 5g network was upgraded to deco 6g wifi network. I don't want then to be a waste. But I could use them as a backup and music devices. But I can't find the options to do that

What happens if you factory reset the whole Nest Wifi network from Google Home app, effectively deleting the network (assuming you don't need it anymore). Then make sure the add-on point is factory reset:

Then you try adding it to your Google Home home?
