In google home after trying to setup it says “caller does not have permission “

I don’t understand what this means and I’m have difficulty getting this thing set up.

Since you are getting the error message 'caller does not have permission,' it's possible your device is already in the Google Home app but unassigned. Let's try to complete the setup process by following the steps below:

1. Open the Google Home app.
2. Tap Devices.
3. Select the unassigned device.
4. Add the device to a room.
5. After adding the device to a room, return to the Google Home app's home screen.
6. Tap Favorites > Wi-Fi > Settings.
7. Enter a name and password.
