In the past two weeks I have experienced painful issue of the intermittent WiFi connectivity at my home. The ISP sent technician to check and replace the cable from the box outside to the wall and the modem but it did not solve the problem. The technician thought the problem on my google nest WiFi router. I switched back to my old Netgear router and it seems to be stable. But that router cannot cover my room so I wired the nest WiFi router to one of the Lan port at Netgear. The amazing thing occurs that the problem is gone, the wifi signal from nest wifi is also great and no up and down anymore. The speed of the signal is also as before.

Hi, Toddli.
First, sorry for the confusion you had with your network performance. I'm happy the problem is gone. I'm guessing that when you took down the network it caused a restart of everything and that cleared up the issue. The network restarts can clear up lots of problems and sometimes they will also coincide with app or hardware updates. Either way, I'm happy to see it working well for you. Let me know if there's anything else you need.
Thanks.
