Sudden issues with Google Home and Google Wifi

Installed 3 units over the weekend and all was good.

Today, I started having issues with the Home App.  It is giving me all kinds of strange info.

Says my main unit is offline, it is not.

Every time I try to run the Mesh Test it fails.

Keep getting message that the app cannot communicate with my network.

When I look at any device and tap on "info" it returns all fields blank (this worked when I installed.

I tried getting the app to restart the network but nothing happened.

It seems that the app is pretty much useless.

Uninstalled and reinstalled Home, but no joy.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Follow up.

Contacted Google Support and they were able to resolve.  Something was very messed up in the network and I had to factory reset but all is OK.  Just hoping it stays that way.

Getting the same here. Nothing changed after 2 years of using Nest wifi.

Everything seems to be working okay apart from the app seems to think my main router is offline and can't run any tests or get any info. I think I'll leave any factory resetting until things actually stop working.

Exactly what was happening with me.  Support told me that the ip address for the main router had, somehow, changed and was not in the range of the other 2 units!!!  Anyway, we resolved it by doing a factory reset on the three units (this, of course, could not be done via the app but had to be done manually).  Then a factory reset in the app.  And I then recreated the network in the app.  A lot of steps but so far, so good.

Was there a reason you couldn't just factory reset the whole network via the app?

Yes, the app could not communicate with the network.  It appeared as if it was connected but nothing happened when I tried to use it.  Seemed to be that it thought the main unit was offline.
