Hello. I tried connecting my wifi pro directly to Summit’s ONT and it’s not working. The primary pro router gets a blinking yellow light. I’ve tried power cycling the ONT & router, but that doesn’t change anything. Connected ISP and they weren’t any help. The Nest mesh system does work if I connect it to Summit’s router though. My goal is to eliminate Summit’s router and just connect Nest to ONT directly. I browsed a few other threads here, but I wasn’t able to find a solution. Thanks.

I was finally able to successfully setup my Google WiFi Pro Mesh system by connecting it to my ISP’s ONT directly. I didn’t have luck trying to set it up using my iPhone, so I factory reset the Google system and set it up with an Android phone instead. According to the general troubleshooting steps outlined on this site, all of my iPhone’s settings were correct. Maybe recent iOS updates somehow broke something within the Google Home app setup process? Anyway, I didn’t have any issues setting up my mesh system with an Android phone via Google Home app. Thanks.

Great work in finding the solution to your concern. This gives our community members options when setting up their Nest mesh system, letting them know what to look for if they have the same set-up concerns. We might need iOS updates to finish since this has been isolated only when using your iPhone.
