Two points wont set up

I took the a three pro units deal from Amazon.  I set up the three points, but one of them wouldn't set up. I had much going on and I didn't have time to troubleshoot.  However, two points just wouldn't do it, so I ordered another single pro unit.  That unit and the other unit from the first group would not set up. I've tried resetting each point individually but can't get through the first step.  The light never changes (it sometimes flashes blue) but never yellow or white.  I'm afraid to reset the system the factory settings because I cant trust it to com back so it can be used.  I would send the entire system back but I've had them for about six months, so I can't expect them to take them back.  Any suggestions?

Hi @paulschulte1946,

Thank you for posting in the community. I'm truly sorry to hear that you're experiencing this inconvenience while trying to set up your Nest WiFi Pro units, but the points won't connect. Let me help you solve this situation.

To start with this resolution, I would like to ask you:

  • What color is the light on your Nest WiFi Pro units?
  • If the app is giving you an "error message,"  please let me know exactly what the message is or attach a screenshot.

In the meantime, please try this process: “Follow these steps to perform a factory reset in your devices”.

After performing the factory reset and waiting for around 5 minutes, the devices should show you a slow blinking blue light, which means "the device is ready for setup." If you can see this light, let's try to add the devices one more time to your network. Keep me updated.

Best regards,

Lusvin.
