Unnamed Offline devices on Nest WiFi

Per multiple older threads (all locked without resolution), this issue is still unresolved and fairly problematic.

You cannot delete/remove devices [names] in the Wifi portion of the Google Home app.

Furthermore, devices that were previously named that (for one reason or another) had their MAC address changed can actually consume a name FOREVER, hiding in the background data. For example, I used to have "Eric's Apple Watch Ultra" as a named device. The MAC address of my watch changed. I found the watch as a new "Unnamed device" and tried to change the name, but "Eric's Apple Watch Ultra" was already taken. I tried to find the device with the name "Eric's Apple Watch Ultra," but it was gone, removed and hiding somewhere in the invisible background data. I changed the name to "Eric's Apple Watch" instead. Well, now it's happened again. What new, creative nomenclature am I supposed to use this time??

This is honestly unacceptable data management. Get your act together, Google, or I'm moving to Apple Home.

One extra complaint. As of about a year ago, the wifi devices [names] can't sit still, and perpetually jumble around about every 4-5 seconds that the interface refreshes their data. It's fairly obvious that none of these interfaces are being quality controlled before being deployed.
