Hi all,
So I have read through many of these community messages, some since 2020, and you are all describing my issues.
I am unble to access some websites specifically in current testing facebook and messenger - all part of the same family coincidentally.
Im very familiar with networks and have tried all the workaround but still in hope that Google has acknowledged this to be an issue to be resolved. When I've read that support has told others over the phone that Google will not look into this as not enough people have the issue, that is awful service.
So, what I have tried.
1. Changing the DNS between, automatic, ISP, custom (Google DNS, plus others)
2. I have no family network set up so we can rule that out
3. I have tried randomly turning off Google cloud service, setting up static IP addresses, even turning off UPnP just to try. This issue is random after all.
4. I have factory reset the mesh routers
5. I have bypassed the mesh router which then allows me to navigate to the websites that I couldnt when Nest Wifi is the medium.
6. I have contacted my ISP but after bypassing the mesh system and for my issues to be resolved, im sure this isn't an ISP issue.
Is there anything I've missed or is this a low level hardware configuration issue that only Google can address?
Any assistance would be much appreciated.

Hi there,
I understand how frustrating this issue is. Connectivity problems can be incredibly disruptive
Thank you for providing such detailed troubleshooting steps. It's clear you've invested a lot of time in resolving this issue.
While we've made significant improvements in the device, it's possible there are still some underlying network configuration issues affecting certain users.
To further investigate, please provide the following information:
Once we have this information, we can start to pinpoint the issue.
In the meantime, I recommend trying these steps:
I recommend contacting them to request a modem replacement. A newer modem could potentially resolve the connectivity issues you're experiencing.
While it's possible there could be an issue with the Nest Wifi Pro, it's important to understand that most internet connectivity problems often originate from the modem. The modem is essentially the gateway between your home network and the internet, and it has the capability to filter or block specific websites.
Given the information we have, it's likely that the root cause of the issue lies with your modem rather than the Nest Wifi Pro.
We appreciate your patience and persistence in resolving this issue.
Best,
Brandon.

Conducted all the steps mentioned and removed Nest Wifi Pro and all was working fine.
Reconnected Nest Wifi Pro and the same issue presented itself.
I used NordVPN to work around the issue for a few days as no matter what DNS I used (Googles, Cloudflare, ISPs) I couldnt get to some websites, also some of my Android apps would time out and some online games error'd mentioning firewall issues.
After about 4 days, I turned off NordVPN and everything was working correctly. I assume something needed time to adjust in the hardware.
Everything is working perfectly now.
