Using a nest rouster as an access point

Jamest18

I need to know if I can use a nest router (not a wifi point, the router itself) as an access point with my current router but I can't seem to find a definitive answer. I want to plug the nest router into my existing asus router and use the nest router as an access point to extend the range of my current wifi network. Is this possible or do I need to go with a standard router?

Only if you wire it by ethernet cable and set it (Nest Wifi router) up in bridge mode. It won't wirelessly mesh with anything other than Google Wifi and Nest Wifi.

I don't work for Google.

Hi @Jamest18

If you are already using a Nest Wifi Router you can add another and set it up like a point.

There is a very helpful post that can be found HERE.

I'm not using a nest router, I'm using an asus router. I need to know if I can use a nest router as an access point.
