Want whole home ethernet

Tech recently installed Fiber box to AC-1300 with second mesh unit located on second floor with etherent hub connected to whole-house wiring in Media cabinet. As the fiber was not available on the second floor, he set up wifi connectivity from base to upstairs mesh unit with four port hub. This does not address my intent to have direct ethernet and the mesh unit connected to hub works but not at gig speeds due to the wifi to wifi 'break' or interuption.  Short of attempting to snake fiber cable from floor to floor are there any suggestions to close the speed gap? Change out supplied inexpensive non-PoE hub to higher quality PoE device?  Suggestions are appreciated

Thank you for your suggestion. I did come acrosss both solutions. Since the main fibered hub (puck) is a room away from both ethernet and coax I might try using powerline devices. I may first inquire if Google can extend the fiber along baseboard and through a closet. There might even be enough coiled line which can be glued along the route.

Thanks Jeff. Before I attempt to go through walls, closet etc., to extend the fiber and setup the router next to an ethernet wall jack I was hoping to see if there was a more robust ethernet hub over the basic four port hub supplied by the Google Installer. If the signal from the second mesh unit could be boosted to assure the strongest signal is dispatched through the house jacks, then the weakest point would be between the routers. The Coax jacks are next to the ethernet wall jacks so it still involves bringing the fiber and router next to them.
