Wanting to set up parental controls but wifi not showing in google home app

Hi all, My husband set up our google nest mesh wifi and we can connect to the wifi but when I got into the Google Home app to set up parental controls, there is no wifi option showing up. Is this due to my husband setting the wifi up on his google home app? Please assist.

Your husband can share his Google Home with you, then you can see and configure Wi-Fi settings too. More on that:
