Google nest wifi have supported IPv6 according to manual.

But it is not working with /64 prefix.  Some user have already reported. However, still doesn't fixed.

I would like to know Google developer recognized issue or not.

Hi, LukewarmMilk.

Nest WiFi does support IPv6 with a 64 bit prefix, but it can cause some issues, especially with the guest network functionality. We do have a help article that goes in depth with how IPv6 works with the Nest WiFi system, and you can read that here: https://bit.ly/2RVnZoF

Near the end of the article it addresses the 64 bit issue on a guest network which might give you some additional insight into what you're looking for. If you still have more questions, please let me know and I'll be happy to look deeper into things for you.

Thanks.

Hi, LukewarmMilk.
I just wanted to check in real fast to see if you saw my reply and to find out if you still needed any help on this. If you're still needing assistance, please just let me know and I'll be happy to continue helping.
Thanks.

Thanks for reply,

According to support page, the limitation of /64 prefix is only guest network.  But it really need a prefix less than /64. If I can see the log or screenshot working with /64 prefix,  I'm very happy.  I beleave it is bug of nest wifi.

Hey, LukewarmMilk.

I know it's been a while, but I wanted to check in and see if you were still having issues. We're trying to replicate the issue internally and we're discussing it here, but I didn't want to leave you hanging. For now, I don't have anything new to share, but was curious if your situation had changed at all.

Thanks.

Hi

Thanks for trying reproducing issues.

Yes I still have faced this trouble. I beleave Nest wifi will work fine ipv6 with just /64 prefix.

We can find same issue by Google search.

Hi, LukewarmMilk.

I know it's been a while, but I do finally have news of an incoming firmware release. The update is actually rolling out now and will be to all devices before the end of April. There's nothing you need to do in order to get the update, it will download and install automatically. If you have any questions on this, let me know.

Thanks.

Hey, Lukumilk.

I hope so too! I don't have all the details on the release, but it looks like there's a good bit of improvements in the firmware release.
